Concepts I'm Working on

1. Electricity

Ideaaa behind it:

Sort of like controlled power explosion takes over making art, high voltage lively jolts of passion, A switch in your thoughts turn on, electric thoughts electric art. Switch gets turned on and you come alive and all the incredible thoughts surge through you and burst out in the form of whatever you do, art illustration photography, high motivated bursts of life.

Be wanting to create a quick, fast paced experience, shocking and exciting through splashes of colour and interactivity on mouse movement or onclick ( in a coherent and relevant way, not just wham bam pow watch out! got hit in the face with a flash of yellow )
Short Quick bursts of life.

Be lively ! and energetic. pretty much bursting at the seams with energy, high impact, but not in an overpowering way, playing with emotion. It fits with your logo and the connotations of electricity.



2. Infection/virus 

This one sounds a bit gross, but give it time haha.

Idea behind it:

I'm into the idea of an infection or virus, your lives and bodies are infected by this innate desire and passion to create and do and make, infected by this buzz to draw and create something from nothing. You all seem pretty relaxed, so going on this idea that it's an uncontrollable part of your genetic make up. The Switch bit comes sort of like a superhero in a phone box, switching from the normality of everyday life to the passion or mindset of when you're set and involved in your work or art.

This one would be more about the emotions illustrated to the audience rather than the electricity idea causing the emotions in the user.
I would want to make the site sort of alive, a living organism, and the further through the site you travel the deeper you contract the bug, or understand it, each page is sort of a progression through, the ideas growing.

Would be implemented more with colour techniques and shapes.



3. Monsters/Beasts

This one mixes with the idea of an infection, sort of werewolf crazed state of making art.
Leaves a lot of room for weird illustrations and odd monsters, but again not too overpowering, more about the suggestion. Small touches sort of flirting with the idea that the website is a house or hub or environment for odd creatures and intriguing ways, plays on the idea of mystery which you mentioned. Not giving away too much, but creating a sense of intrigue and hype for Switch, all about curiosity and mischief. It's a pretty playful idea.



4. Spillage

This idea would be relaxed, calm and pretty chilled. Idea's of liquidity, paint spillage, drips, slow and smooth movements of colour. Relating to the ideas of paint and the application of it.

Would implement it through smooth scroll downs and the use of appropriate colour. Probably my least favourite but I thought I'd include it incase the other ones are way off the kind of feel you fancy.
